Counselors

Janet Martinez, Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC

We all face challenges in our lives. None of us are perfect parents, perfect children or perfect spouses. It is okay to seek out help and perspective from another person, especially a professional. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2001. I have worked with children, adolescents and families since being an intern in 1999. In the Spring of 2018 I became an LPC Supervisor to help new counselors develop the professional skills to be a Licensed Counselor. I love helping people get through challenges and helping them get to the next level of their lives.

I have a background in working with those with substance abuse, teenagers, couples and various parenting and family issues. My favorite quote is "Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future." There is nothing more true than that.

My practice can be either secular or faith-based depending on your preference.

Lisa Yarbrough, Licensed Professional Counselor and Social Worker, LPC-S

I counsel clients in a broad range of settings. My experience has allowed me to help the very young to the very aged. I have counseled in school settings to nursing homes to troubled youth in the juvenile justice system. My most recent clients have been affected by the pandemic, either by increased depression or anxiety, or stressors by various losses. I have helped those individuals and families navigate their emotions to alleviate stress, work through family problems, and manage other mental health concerns.

I encourage you to message me anytime. I usually check messages several times daily. I offer in-person sessions, messaging, live chat, phone sessions, and video/virtual sessions. I am also flexible with my scheduling. Do not hesitate to inquire about availability as we can arrange times to accommodate your schedule.

I look forward to working with you!
